Window Nation will open its second New England location in Hartford, Connecticut, adding both new jobs and sought-after home solutions to the area. The window dealer will serve the Hartford / New Haven and southwestern Massachusetts areas.
“We are of course happy about the general growth of our industry, especially because it allowed us to keep our team busy, but we are still in the middle of a pandemic and had to adjust our procedures so that both our customers and our employees always safe, ”said Harley Magden, CEO of Window Nation, a company he started 15 years ago with his brother Aaron. “This means that we are offering virtual visits and estimates as options, contactless installations and the cancellation of so many personal home shows. We have started an online virtual show to help people with process-related and house-related projects in general.”
The Hartford showroom will sell replacement windows and have experts on hand to guide customers through the renovation process. Customers are asked to make an appointment before visiting the showroom. The Window Nation team follows strict CDC guidelines at every appointment, including social distancing, improved cleaning practices, protective equipment, and health screenings.
To ensure the safety of all customers, employees and their families in COVID-19, the company also offers residents the option of receiving virtual advice and an estimate via video conference. Homeowners can upload photos for precise measurements and the installation will be completed outdoors with minimal disruption. Depending on a customer’s individual preferences, needs and circumstances, Window Nation experts are still available to provide advice and training at home, strictly following CDC safety and hygiene guidelines.
