Foster Roofing in Springdale said it has received a few hundred calls ranging from Northwestern Arkansas to the River Valley area. The VP of sales says in Springdale the company has done 50 roof repairs and put between 30-40 tarps up after the Ef-3 tornado touched down. Now, they are assessing the damage from the hailstorms in the River Valley. “It’s going to be substantial; we’ll know in a week or two how substantial and how large the area was. “This is severe weather season, usually you just get thunderstorms and heavy winds, but to have a tornado one week then a hail storm the next week that is pretty uncommon,” Jimmy Hall said.
