Seneca is asking for suggestions for the roof replacement



It is hereby noted that the Seneca Healthcare District, referred to as the owner, receive sealed proposals for the provision of all manpower, materials, transportation, equipment and services required to replace the existing canopy of the main hospital known as “Project for the roofing of facilities”. The bids are received by the administration office. Seneca Healthcare District, 199 Reynolds Road, Chester, CA 96020, to 3 p.m. on April 15, 2021. The offer opening will take place on Seneca Healthcare District199 Reynolds Road, Chester, CA. Only the Seneca Healthcare District Board of Directors has the authority to award the contract to the lowest responsible Responsible Bidder who meets the bid specifications or to reject all bids. Seneca Healthcare County Administration will submit the offer summaries to the Board of Directors at its regular monthly meeting after the offer is opened.

The scope of the project is to completely replace the existing roofing of the main hospital building according to the roof plan on sheet A-101. Work required will include removing the existing metal panel roofs and asphalt shingle roofs (First Roofing Layer) and cleaning / repairing the existing plywood roofing as needed to accept new specified metal panel roofs. See roof plan and applicable installation details on Sheets A-101 and A-102.

ON mandatory Pre-bid passage will take place on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 1 p.m.. It is REQUIRED that aAll interested bidders take part in this meeting. All discussions during the pre-bid meeting are part of the contractor’s construction responsibility. Last day for submitting bid questions to the architect; April 5, 2021 at 3 p.m.

This project is expected to begin approximately 45 days (weather permitting) after receiving the “Award Notice”, taking into account the allowances for the ordering and delivery of the device. The construction period is expected to be thirty (30) consecutive calendar days.
