    DIY and decorating projects have exploded in the last few months as we try to stay busy at home. After Katy Hoad discovered the DIY bug, she turned them into beige and boring bathroom with a touch of black and white color.

    The pictures speak for themselves. The savvy upcycler transformed the room with black and white spray paint and bargains from Ebay and Dunelm. The end result is a room that wouldn’t look out of place in a high-end hotel.


    Instead of buying expensive new bathroom tile, Katy gave her old beige tile an instant face lift with the help of a few cans of white and black spray paint. Then she painted the shower faucets with black grill and stove spray and varnish.

    For a current update sHe replaced a shower curtain with an elegant Crittal-style glass shower screen. These screens can often cost a small fortune, but Katy got one into her budget by chasing one on Ebay for £ 80.

    Practical items weren’t overlooked as shelves and hooks for towels and a gold Roman shade have been added for privacy.

    The final touches are fun prints, artificial plants, and leopard print towels. We love the black faucets with golden details, paired with a matching diffuser and soap and lotion dispensers. This is color coordination at its best.
