Stafford Speedway is pleased to announce GAF Roofing and Riverhead Building Supply as the newest Stafford Speedway corporate partner with a multi-year contract. The GAF Roofing 150 unveiled by Riverhead Building Supply for Friday, August 6th, will feature the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour along with all of Stafford’s five weekly racing departments.
Both GAF Roofing and Riverhead Building Supply have long been supporters of modified racing. Eric Goodale and Craig Lutz both put Riverhead Building Supply on the Stafford Speedway winning streak, while GAF Roofing was also on the Goodale machine for his two career Stafford wins.
“GAF Roofing and Riverhead Building Supply have been known supporters of the short-distance racing over the years,” said Mark Arute, CEO of Stafford Speedway. “We look forward to showcasing both brands at our annual August Modified Tour event and throughout the racing season through additional initiatives that will be announced in the coming weeks.”
GAF’s Timberline brand is America’s best-selling clapboard and is available through Riverhead Building Supply. With stores in New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island, the highest quality roofing and building materials are available throughout the area.
“GAF and Riverhead Building Supply have a longstanding, growing relationship,” said Eric Goodale, director of marketing for Riverhead Building Supply. “With a solid presence in the New England area, we are excited to partner with Stafford Motor Speedway to continue our growth and presence.”
“Many of our racing teams and racing fans are in the construction business,” continued Mark Arute. “This is a perfect partnership that puts GAF Roofing and Riverhead Building Supply in the foreground for our audience when it comes to roofing and construction requirements.”
GAF Roofing and Riverhead Building Supply will expand their involvement at Stafford Speedway through additional initiatives to be announced in the coming weeks.
“GAF Roofing, the leading roof manufacturer in the United States, and RBS, the leading distributor in the region, are excited to partner with the leader in short-distance racing,” said Goodale. “Short-distance races at Stafford Speedway are some of the most exciting in the country and we are very excited to be part of the show.”
